Wearing the same style of clothing?
it is pretty common for someone on the spectrum to prefer one style of clothing so badly that they only wear something else if forced to, but this style is far from universal between individuals.
for me, i wear blue jeans with a regular t-shirt, no writing and 'weak' colours, and i add a sweater/hoodie if it's cold.
i can wear something else, but i just dont feel comfortable in it; my personality even changes slightly if i wear something significantly different...

Same here. I'll wear a suit for a job interview but I see that as a necessary evil, a crappy social code that has no point yet you have to adhere to it. I certainly don't feel comfortable like that though. I actually pity people who think that wearing a shirt and tie is some indicator of competence or that it somehow compensates for a lack of it. My previous boss definitely fell into that category and would mark my performance reviews down not based on my performance, but on my appearance, which I felt was grossly unfair. I'm a software developer, I look like I do for a reason.

I don't get it - in another thread somewhere else it said, ''is it common in NTs to wear the same style of clothing?''
I did not see the thread, but I suspect that was different in that NT's may tend to wear the same style of clothes as each other (fashion) but these styles may change often, where as this thread is about one person wearing the same style and what others are wearing is irrelevant.

The thread is in women's discussion, I think.
I've found the link for it now. http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt195204.html
