Pokemon (just the games, not the show or cards)
The X-Files (not a current obsession, but I still have encyclopedic knowledge about it)
Tool
Anything Hellraiser-related
Wendigos

I wish I could be obsessed with something that's actually useful - none of these are ever going to do me any good, besides giving me that indescribable sensation of indulging in an obsession. Also, I use the term "obsession" instead of "special interest" or something because for me, that's what it is - when it's at its strongest, every single thought I have pertains in some way to my current obsession, and I've absolutely had problems with my obsessions interfering with other things, like schoolwork in college.

I believe I have expansive knowledge beyond mere 'interest' of some areas, since they encompass large portions of my applied existence - some are obscure topics and border on utter uselessness to gravitate toward but I don't care either way, can't really control what I find compelling. I don't think there are many people on this fine planet besides actual on scene aviation accident investigators who can tell you more than me about doomed voyages of passenger planes, nobody seems to give much of a sh about them but I sure do.
