I am going to see some friends and I am very apprehensive, we have a laugh but I'm teased mercilessly and they don't understand my problems. How do you tell people to stop criticising? I am usually very passive but if the mickey talking gets bad I have a tendency to lose control and get very angry!

July 7 and the terrorist attacks are over. It's not that bad anymore!

I'm not sure if that's remotely relevant, really.

fresco: If they won't treat you as you treat them (i.e. it's not a 'give as good as you get' thing) and they won't accept you for who you are, tell them to f**k off and get some real friends. 'Friends' like that aren't worth having.

Larsen terrorist attacks are possible over the Christmas period in the capital but I'm not worried about that. Thank you though.

More chance of you getting run o'er or having an 'accident' on the way there, to be honest. But that's not sexy enough, is it?

I posted this in the haven because it was something I was quite worried about. I was just apprehensive about mixing with other people.

Tequila yes a traffic accident is far more probable or being struck by lightening!

larsenjw92286: No. And may it never be. People of this United Kingdom with any backbone will not surrender so easy. Especially to a few deranged Muslims.

The UK has suffered and lived through terrorism before don't forget with terrorist psychos from Northern Ireland from both sides of the sectarian divide. So it's not a new thing as it was to the Americans.

You've never heard of The Troubles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Troubles)? And it was in the news around the world. This only finished about ten years ago. Granted, most of the terrorist attacks took place in Northern Ireland and not in Great Britain but obviously murdering people is very serious, no matter where they come from.
