2006. I can name positive points but the negative outweighs the positive.

Let's see, I'll start with the good points.

I Found Wrongplanet. :)

Without it I'd still think I'm the only one who suffers.

I'm Growing Up

Well..duh, but I'm proud I'm actually growing up (both maturing and physical changes).

Now, the bad points.

I Feel Ill

Round about Easter I fell ill with Gastritis and had to suffer with that for 2 months missing my Year 9 SATS exams and lots of school. Now, in this year 10, because I didn't do the SATS they thought I was capable of "a level 5" even though I'm capable of higher and am placed in sets (not too low) but low enough for me not to be in. I'm a set 2 person, but I'm put in set 3.

I Hit Rockbottom

When I say rockbottom, I was suffering stress from December to Easter and after being welcomed back to school and recovering with Gastritis, I had discovered that I'd hit depression.

Now

I posted a topic about starting my medication Respiridone about 3 weeks ago and here is a how they turned out:

The Good:

It chills me out and that's about it.

The Bad:

Side Effects, Diarreah (however you spell it, lol), being sick, drowsiness, nausea, and being me distracted by things easily. My concentration breaks easily and I have "meltdowns" more often.

I'm still depressed now, and this year has been a big change for me compared to last year.

I can't wait until this year is over, and hope things get better for me in 2007.

Are you taking a low dose of Risperidone? I've never taken that class of meds but I
do not think anti-depessant action is on its list of benifits.

Hvae you tried SSRI's like Fluoxetine/Prozac?

you said an interesting thing..you hit rock bottom.
this isnt a necessrily bad thing.
a lot of depressed people are unaware that they are depressed and go through the bottom and end up in a hole.
the fact tht you have recognised this and are on a fluctuating course of meds to correct it and aspie related issues is a good thig in my reckoning.
being aware one is depressed is the hardest thing to deal with , at least i think from personal experience.

Yeh I'm taking a low dose.

I'm going to go see the pyshc who I've been seeing and he was the one who gave me the medication.

I've been on it for 3 weeks and I'll be meeting him on the 14th.

My psychologist I see is going to tell him after I saw her on Monday what I've just said about the medication as I told her.

Yeah. But I class it as bad as the amount of stress I've suffered over the past 6 years of bullying + social rejection.

Ruby Rootie and I hope that things get better for you. High fives from me, and winks from Ruby.
