Hi All,

Just thought i would create this thread to see what other people feel and whatnot.
SO basically im a 19 year old guy with Apserger's. I'm also a virgin and I consider myself Bisexual with a tendancy towards attraction to men.

I was just wondering if people are in the same boat as me and have a stupidly high sex drive. I've had sexual urges since 9 years old (No joke) and begun masturbation around 13 years old. I read on a research paper that people with asperger's tend to have incredibly high testosterone levels partially due to exposure in the womb (i might be wrong). particulalry during the teen years, this is quite obvious for some. People think im just saying this to try and fit in with NT teenagers when it's actually the truth. Sorry for the explicity in this post.

Alex D

P.S is it normal to have this high a sex drive when you're still a virgin?

It's very "normal" to have a super-high sex drive when you're 19, virgin or not, Aspie or not. And it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with testosterone in the womb (which is still a contested theory of autism). Someone will be lucky to meet you!

Yeah that's the thing. It does seem natural when you think about it. I think i just need to ignore other people to be honest. If i feel comforable with it that's all i should be worried about. I just start to worry when i meet someone and immediatly have sexual thoughts about them. At least, I do suprisingly well to repress it when around my peers. Hopefully this whole sex drive business will start to go down when i get older. Not sure how they would be lucky! I used to worry continously when i was with my ex boyfriend. I was aroused constantly when i was around him and i used to try and convince him to do things. I always feel horrible afterwards like i've used him.

The sex drive will go down as you age -- and you might even miss it. But yeah, it's good to try to be aware of the other person's comfort level and never force or even try to argue someone into doing anything they're not cool with. Good luck!

I'm thankfully glad that those years are over. I've wondered if being OCDish makes it seem so excessive.

As stevesilberman said, as long as you don't force anyone into doing something they don't want to and keep it to the privacy of your room or similar most reasonable people won't be phased by it.

If you're really worried or if you think that it's so much of a problem that it affects your day to day life. For example it prevents you doing things that you should be doing, like working or studying etc. Then go and see a GP and talk to them about it.

As a woman, I reckon that guys have it rougher with that sort of thing.

Everyone has the same problem, even us girls. It's just that no one really talks about it.

Yeah, You guys are definitly right on that one. I always make sure i can contain it and all my friends know im a sensitive and caring person. Like you said, it's about keeping it to a private place with that special person and then everything is fine. Thanks alot though, it's nice to know people share similar opinions and don't judge. :)

P.S one of ex girlfriends broke up with me because i was too "restrained" as i didn't make a move on her on our first date. Weird huh?

Exactly. It's important that you respect other's emotions and feelings when it comes too that. I just express my frustrations when alone. Then everyone wins! Yaaay! :)

I am reasonably certainly that auntblabby is referring to the Fleshlight (tm).

(clicky)THIS is what i was referring to! i've used 2 of 'em [cinammon and vanillla] for a year now and they meet all my willie needs in spades. :thumleft: highly recommended. if you can't get off from one of these, then chances are you won't be able to get off with anything. of course they work better after you've "foreplayed" yourself with lots of explicit porn first.
