Beards are okay but I hate goatees, they are the mullets of beards. If someone has a goatee, I'm immediately turned off by them.

Can't stand them. Keep telling beardy to shave his, but he claims lots of woman like it. So he will remain to be called beardy until then

As a man reaches a certain age (post 40), the goatee helps disguise the gradual sagging of facial muscles around the chin and jowls, without having to cover the entire face with fur, and so helps keep a fella from feeling prematurely old.

That's if it's kept neatly trimmed. If it's allowed to grow wild and scruffy, it just looks slovenly, but that tends to be true of any beard.

Women tended to prefer me in beads.

When I trimmed it to almost nil last time, my partner was jokingly like "You look 23! I like you more in longer beard" while were in intimate moments - she's 3 years older than me so she kinda feels insecure about it sometimes.

But that's not a beard...at least not much of one, I haven't had that issue with my boyfriends beard but its longer then that so it's more soft than prickly.

I personally don't like the look or feel of beards, I'd rather look at a clean jawline. Some people just grow patchiness, anyway

My beard won't stop chasing me & it takes entire minutes to get rid of, when I'm usually better off drinking coffee.

My girlfriend prefers that I don't have a beard but it's not a big deal to her. It gets shaved about 1ce a week because it gets itchy.
