There are a ton of popular movies, that everyone has seen, but I never have.

These films are

What are some popular films you never seen?

Ohhh yeah, there are tons of popular movies I have yet to see and don't really want to. I'm just not a movie person, I find most of them too long and boring to sit through and when they're not boring they're too "Hollywood" with too much swearing and violence and overpaid actors who can't make facial expressions because of botox. I did watch "The Corpse Bride" by Tim Burton on TV while visiting my parents a couple of weeks ago and thought it was pretty decent. I prefer watching anything ALONE and in PEACE. And about the only movies I do like are animated or have partial animation at least.

Here are just some of the popular movies I haven't watched, and anyone who thinks that's strange should just get over it:

Titanic - I watched maybe five minutes of it on TV, and that was enough.
Forest Gump
Dances with Wolves
Tangled
The Princess and the Frog (I really should see it, after all it's the first animated Disney Movie with black main characters, isn't it? )

Happy Feet
The Incredibles
Madagasgar
Any popular horror movie like Halloween or Friday the 13th (the weird thing is that I love a lot of horror movie soundtracks such as Halloween, which sound eerily beautiful for movies full of stomach-turning gore).
The Hangover (The title alone tells me I'd hate it)
American Pie
Any Star Trek movie not a fan anyway though I'd watch the show as a kid sometimes and really liked the "Tribbles" episode.
Any Batman movie

What makes a movie popular? Is it the amount of money it makes or how often it is talked about? I wouldn't know the former from the latter.

I prefer watching a movie in the comfort of my own home. I like going to the theaters every now and then, but sometimes the noise leaves me nauseous and full of headaches. Whatever movies I miss I usually end up seeing them later on DvD.

Oh, I almost forgot Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, even though I've read the books! Or maybe BECAUSE I read the books.
It really kind of bothers me that other people have never even heard of a lot of classic books that have been around for years until they're made into some big-budget movie.

If you go down 50, I have seen 41 of them. Between 26 and 50 I have not seen Alice in Wonderland (2010), Shrek the Third, Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Twilight Saga: New Moon, or Up.

Hey, I saw John Carter. I thought it was pretty good. So far this year I have seen in theaters, Star Wars: Episode 1 3D, John Carter, The Cabin in the Woods(2x), The Avengers(2x), Prometheus, Brave, Ted, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Dark Knight Rises(2x), The Bourne Legacy, ParaNorman, The Cold Light of Day, Raiders of the Lost Ark IMAX, Looper, and Argo. Also over the rest of the year, I want to see Cloud Atlas, Flight, Wreck-it Ralph, Skyfall, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and Django Unchained.

I think the biggest movies that I have not seen, that most movie buffs have, would be Gone with the Wind, The Godfather, Jaws, and Top Gun.
