I paid for me & my girlfriend to eat out yesterday at a local place down the road from us. We haven't ate there in ages because we're usually up too late or are busy when we're not. I paid my Verizon bill & Crapcast(Comcast) bill last night & today I paid for me & my girlfriend to order pizza, bread-sticks & chocolate chip brownie from Papa John's. Our refrigerator has been broken for a week & property management is slow at doing anything.

(I have a new hobby. Can someone guess it?)

* C64 G (German version)
* C64 Service manual (Realised later on that manuals were available online :roll:)
* Surge protector for C64 PSU
* Amiga Forever complete set
* 1541 Diskdrive diagnostic cartridge
* IC holders for most C64 chips
* A cheap desoldering pen that takes forever to desolver with, thinking of replacing it already.
* A soldering aid with a magnifier and 2 x Crocodile clips for holding stuff.

Have been eyeballing an Amiga 1000, SX-64 and some other vintage computers, but i really should stop buying stuff before i get a new steady job and deal with the stuff i already have :lol:

I used to tinker lots with computers when i was a teenager and got lots of inspiration lately when watching other people repair and do mods, there is so much cool new stuff now like the SD2IEC (micro SD) 1541 emulator and the Gotec drive (USB).

I paid for me & my girlfriend to eat McDonald's today at the mall since we won't have a new fridge till Monday. After that I bought a couple knives/blades at the collectable store & I bought a few books my girlfriend wanted. She'll pay me back for the books at some point & she may pay me back for one or two of the blades since my birthday is coming up in the middle of next month.

An Amiga 4000 that needs some work - but it's still an Amiga 4000!

Gonna fix it up, replace old harddrive with CF card, replace battery so it wont leak, recap it when i know how to and know what capacitors i need.

A knife/blade & I paid for me & my girlfriend to order from Papa John's since we finally have a working fridge so we have the leftovers in there. She'll pay me back for the order thou since I almost always pay for us to eat out & we've been having to eat out more while our fridge was broken.

Nice! Did it come with anything like a Video Toaster?

Nah, Newtec's stuff wasn't as sold as much here in Europe, but there was an Opalvision card in it. Already removed the battery from it (was leaking a green substance) and i'm going to recap it, found a few old ATI/Nvidia graphics cards today that i'm considering scavenging capacitors from. A video to scart cable is heading up from Germany, i haven't seen it work yet (though i'm confident that the previous owner took care of it, has been standing around for 10 years), bought it from a friend so for the time being he's borrowing my money and i'm borrowing his 4000. When i see it working there will be additional stuff to buy.

Latest thing i've bought (or rather have ordered):
* 3.5" to 2.5" adapters
* 3 way 2.5" IDE cables (Amikit)
* A couple of cheap CF storage cards from China

(And yes, those are what you think they are for)
