I have noticed that, when a commentator praises a tennis player's "talent," said player has a bad attitude and less than stellar work ethic. Mere talent alone doesn't win tournaments. Roger Federer is talented, but he also practices diligently. Rafael Nadal is the epitome of hard work, but he also has a passion for the game. Denis Istomin had the determination to succeed when nobody believed he could.

I believe most overweight people don't overeat because they're weak, lazy, or because they're always hungry. I believe they overeat because of the strong emotional pleasure people naturally get from food that they really like, and because humans are genetically wired to eat fattening food because our bodies think we still live in an age when food could easily become scarce and we'd starve. That's why diets don't work.

Also standing up at your desk all day to burn extra calories can cause all kinds of back, feet and leg problems, like people who work in retail stores who have to be on their all the time.

Gender is not a social construct.

People think saying it is somehow liberates people who are gender non-conforming, but actually it can be used to oppress as well. "If gender isn't real because it's a construct, then this means you can change your behaviour at the drop of a hat, so you need to make your gender presentation fit with my politics" (literally the basis of all anti-LGBT conversion/reparative 'therapy') It's far more liberating to say that we all grativate towards various behaviours naturally, and to accept all 57 varieties as valid.

Ang Lee's Hulk is completely underrated and I find it much more analytical compared to the highly pretentious MCU.

The American flag and anthem are not religious symbols. Far from it. Protesting NFL players have the right perspective, and their actions are heroic.

- marvel superheroes are overrated
- the new star wars movies have predictable storylines (probably not so unpopular)
- japan does it better

Anime is really just cartoons made in Japan.

Western animation from the 30's to 50's is superior to anime from any decade.

Most popular anime like is repetitive, boring, makes no sense, and nearly impossible for me to sit through.

I think men's dress clothes (tuxedos and suits) look awful, and someone with a plain t-shirt and jeans (as long as it's not wrinkled or has holes) looks much better than someone wearing a tuxedo.

I prefer the swastika over the crown. It's very masculine.

There is some link between vaccines and regressive encephalitis.

People are so self absorbed it's sickening.
They need to stop thinking about themselves so much.
And start thinking more about me.

The 2008 Incredible Hulk film is a ridiculously underrated comic book movie.

However (and even though I might be in the minority on this), despite giving a great performance as Bruce Banner, I'm glad Marvel gave Ed Norton the boot and replaced him with Mark Ruffalo.
