They probably didn't ask me to quit to an unemployment insurance claim. In Washington, I would only need to provide the letter they gave me to prove I wasn't given a choice in leaving. But unfortunately, I haven't been employed long enough to file for UE benefits. The state requires 1,000 hours of employment, and since a lot of my employment this year has been in the form of 1099, I don't qualify .
