בכל אופן את מדברת שונה, גם בגלל שאת מתרגמת משפה אחרת, לא שאני רואה בעיה בזה, להיפך, אני די לא מרוצה מהשימוש השטוח שיש בשפה בפי אנשים

I am glad I have found a thread for this, a few weeks ago i spent a few evenings learning and exploring the aleph beyt for Biblical Hebrew, utterly fascinating. I think a few hours for kids in school on various languages and writing systems would do them good!

The history behind the letters is incredible.

i want to learn Hebrew.
such a beautiful sounding language, and a truly unique writing system too.

why has Esther got the full stop and / or the question mark at the wrong end ?

my guess is that the software got confused. hebrew goes right to left, question marks are usually interpreted as going left to right, so it just stuck it on the wrong end.

I never heard of her, or that band. In fact I think the first time I did hear of her was in one of your posts so I looked her up.

I guess I am not much of a punk rock/alt rock fan anyway so I wouldn't know the scene. It is a fringe scene so the few people who were into that in the 90s were probably avid fans.

I met KenG twice. He's also a musician, plays Guitar and Stick (yes, Chapman stick, like the one Nick Beggs uses). That thing just got me so excited. Unfortunately he didn't bring it over, so I have yet lived to see that rare and super cool instrument. A nice fella I recall.
