The man, in his 50s, entered the Ladbrokes branch in Crownhill Road at 18:45 GMT on Friday wearing a gas mask and holding a pistol.

Police arrested the man, who was already unconscious, but he died a short time later at the scene.

Oh, what a shame. I'm crying my eyes out for him.

Not much to say here really but good riddance. I do have to wonder how he died though but that will no doubt come out in due course.

Same city as me; but I think it's a good several miles from where I live.
