Do people really care about makeup?

Pretty much everything about me makes me thoroughly repulsive.

You have a loving partner, no? Clearly you're more attractive than you give yourself credit for.

The weird thinthing is he loves the things about me I think are unattractive. Insecurities remain though and I genuinely think others find these things unattractive about me.

Nothing makes me believe I'm unattractive, my unattractiveness its based on FACT comparing my traits to others, my life experiences and research on male attractiveness and female desire.

- odd shaped skull or head / too large for my body
- weak unmanly face / jaw. Pale skin, languid, little facial hair and very low raw masculinity.
- Short or borderline short. Maybe average to some - 5'9 1/4 (5'10.75 is average in Scotland)
- bad hairline
- looking really young compared to my real age and the damage it caused (up until around 30/33)
- small shoulders
- small wrists & hands
- no friends due to bullying or shunning during HS, college and University. It gave me S>A.
- no facebook or social media
- no car
- repetitive behaviour (retreat to home, rarely go out to mix)
- depressed
- not worked on my career
- won't date obese women and people use that in their arsenal when the inevitable question arises: "whats your type?" Yeah... I guess that simple preference for healthy weight women makes me 'unattractive' to feminist types. People are mean spirited haters.

I'm glad I'm not overweight or skinny anymore though. And at least I resemble a 'man' instead of a high school boy like I did through my 20's.

That makes me think if there's such thing as 'manliness' that is common cross-culturally.
I presume there is, but don't go into it since this is L&D.

-I'm very short, my 5 ft 3 height is a pretty big deal to a lot of women.
-I'm skinny, barely even normal weight for someone of my height and can't put on muscle despite going to the gym at least 3 or 4 times a week.
-I'm pretty introverted, I just go home and play video games, browse forum sites, and watch porn all day.
-I don't take the time to socialize with people because it's hard for me to find enjoyment in talking to people.
-I don't take a lot of risks. It's hard for me to get out of my comfort-zone.
-I'm bitter over the fact I have no experience with women.
-I take rejection personally and give up too fast.
-I don't have any friends in the new city I moved to.

- Underdeveloped verbal skills.
- Awkward body language when talking.
- Difficulty recounting fluent narratives about my life.
- Looking 28 isn't an advantage when dating a 40 year old woman who feels like she's babysitting.
- Not responding to social cues properly.

This thread is very sad. Saddest thing about it though is that I totally relate to everything people wrote in here. Every single word.

I am honestly not even scared that it has anything to do with my appearance, but that my lack of social skills and not knowing how to have simple conversations is what might make me look unattractive.

I'm socially awkward.
I'm too direct & straightforward.
I have physical disabilities.
I'm on Social Security Disability instead of having a job.
I cant drive.
I lived with my parents until I moved in with my current girlfriend.
I'm dependent in general
I'm needy & clingy within a romantic relationship.
