What do you believe makes you unattractive to others?

Hey MCalavera! Don't stare at me like this! I just have to keep up my tradition here (Paralleling threads)! !

Pretty much everything, if the "what man don't you want" thread is any indication.

only pretty from a distance.
boring.
too negative or at best apathetic,
unworldly.

In order of perceived importance:

lack of job, money, cell phone (phone's a biggie in dating, no one wants to call my house phone)
my tendency to complain too much
My acne
my weight
the emotional damage from past abuse, i.e. trust issues, PTSD-esque triggers, bad self-esteem
my limitations that my sensory issues and my illness place on my life
the control my parents have over my life

Being mentally ill

Staring and analysing
Little speech
Excessive honesty, forthright speech and direct communication

unable to connect with morons

awkward
extremely shy
judging
pessimistic
horrible fashion sense

Other people's bad taste .

My voice, eyes, and flat affect.

I have eyes that don't open very wide because I have a sensory issue with light. Supposedly, I look high all the time also, in real life and in photos. I guess I should just target the stoner demographic? lol

Ahhhh pure evil power! Muhahaha.

I'm very quiet and painfully shy. So I come across as not wanting to speak to people.
I'm judged as cold-looking.
I think and speak slowly, which makes me look stupid, so I don't speak up easily, which makes it look like I have nothing to say, and look even more stupid.
Combine that with a mask-like face, flat chest and average figure, and there's the problem in one.

- Overweight
- No fashion sense (I wear t-shirts, coats and sweat pants,)
- Demeanor of indifference (it comes across as that, but my intention is to come across as true neutral)
- Atypical interests for conversation (philosophy, politics, science, etc.)
- Blindness to flirting
- Culturally different (I feel no connections to general American college culture)
- Introverted
- Often cynical/sarcastic

These are my hypotheses. I have never been told by anyone which qualities I have are unattractive.

I say too much, say stupid things in public at times, don't know how to initiate a relationship (friendships included), etc.
