Python on Android TTS Question

I've been learning Python and using it 99% of the time on Android devices. My question is regarding the TTS utility......I want to make a basic language converter that accepts English as the text and output it to a language of the user's choice (one of the built-in ones included with Android). I know the basic concept for having the "Droid" speak English. There must be some kind of simple command to select the language. Please help.....it will be greatly appreciated
