Hi everyone,

I'm a regular reader here, but haven't posted in probably a couple years. I'm posting now to share an ad-free, cost-free online self help course that has been very helpful to me and changed the way I look at the cognitive and mood difficulties (anxiety, chronic sadness, lonliness, low self-esteem, frustration, bitterness) that have troubled me for pretty much my entire adult and adolescent life.

The course is designed by Pete Gerlach, a practicing, accredited, and acclaimed family systems therapist with over thirty years professional experience in psychotherapy. He proposes an empowering and compassionte explanation for personality and behavior traits that many in society perceive as deviant, undesirable, or indicative of "mental illness."

Even having worked on his course for only a couple days, I have already been able to access and begin to grieve long-suppressed feelings of anger and sadness. The site (and Youtube) also has over a hundred videos explaining methods for healing emotional wounds (usually sustained in early childhood).

I cannot say how fortunate I feel to have come across the wisdom offered in this course. Please take a look at it. You owe it to yourself!

With compassion,

A fellow GWC

Also, this video summarizes a lot of the site's principles: Were you traumatized as a child? How do you know?

It taught me a lot about my own emotional wounds, and helped me to look at them differently.
