What's your IQ?

Online tests do not count. They're not even real or official iq tests.

If you want a true iq test result, you have to take the Raven's Progressive Matrices, Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, Stanford-Binet, or Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Cognitive Abilities.

Last time I was tested was when I was 10, but I tested at 163.

Oh gawsh, anywhere between 112 and 145. It depends on my age at the time of testing. I'm sure my nutrition and sleep habits also had something to do with the huge range.

Though I cannot ever afford a full test, I have done multiple online tests from the direction from my psychologist. Retaking each test over time and averaging the scores.

135 from an average from multiple testing two types of IQ, around 110 IQ in verbal intelligence and 150 IQ in logical IQ with a middle score of 135. I'm still testing other types of IQ to get a more representative score.

I have 140 iq in both math and verbal skills...but when I speak I can't seem to put 3 words together properly so I feel I'm hiding it pretty well. Does anyone relate to this type of frustration?

What online tests have you tried? They all seem sort of hokey to me.

I find it hard to answer this question without an explanation. Last time I did anything close to an IQ test I got an 86, it was online and I don't even know if it was a legit test. This is when I was 15, I have a really hard time testing though, I did horrible in academics as well. I dropped out of high school freshmen year and was able to finish my G.E.D my first try without studying ( I was going to make it a control test to see what I needed to work on.). I'm also a hobbyist computer programmer in some programming languages and a couple scripting languages, I like to think I'm not lacking in anything :(

I don't really believe an IQ test is an accurate measure of anything beyond academic know-how and testing ability in my opinion.

I tested at 141 at age 12, it's been close to 10 years since that test and a lot of... mistakes have been made, etc... so I'd give myself a healthy 121-131 IQ approximately, no lower.

Although I would argue that I.Q test really cannot measure the exact intelligence of a person in any given area. I do recall my special Ed teacher saying I have a verbal IQ of 140 during the fifth grade. I am quite proficient in areas such as: Reading, writing, biology, history, civics, and now computers in my latest courses. My weaknesses are physics and mathematics. :(

haven't taken a proper IQ test in years, but back when I did they averaged out about 148 or so, shame that doesn't translate over very well to being good at anything useful

When I was 8, I was tested (I was in Special Education, and my parents were thinking about sending me to a "special school" for the mentally handi-capped). Much to everyone's surprise, I scored 166.
Around 10 years ago (age 24-25?), I scored 141 on a Stanford-Binet Intelligence test. Two years ago (age 32), I scored 139.

On the other hand, I have taken the Emotional Quotient Inventory test (EQ), and scored abysmally low in all five scales (as well as all 15 subscales). I realize that emotional intelligence tests are (at best) limited in their userfulness, but I do find it interesting.

I was tested, but I only know for sure that its 130 or more, because I would have needed to do an additional test to know the exact IQ beyond 130.
