I just don't know what I should be expecting of people anymore. Lately all my troubles have seemed to be building up until I just broke (metaphorically speaking). No one ever comes to try to make me feel better when I'm blue, when I am blue other people just approach me and tell me that what I do is wrong and that I must change; thus making me feel even worse. Its as if they are trying to make me feel worse when I already at the bottom. And ironically I think that it is they who should be changing and the conversation (or argument) would still make perfect sense if we just swapped positions.

Everyone tells me that I am 'illogical' or 'crazy' when I think that their arguments are illogical. I understand that we think different to NTs, in some ways better and in some ways worse, but I am just told that I must change. I am who I am; and I am happy of who I am, but I cannot just suddenly start thinking the way of NTs. Their logic and my logic just seem incompatible.

And making things worse, I'm told that if I cannot change then I will just be sent away to live in a 'home'.

Should I expect compassion from people? I just don't know anymore...

Are your parents saying this or is just others? My opinion you should try talking it over with them and try to work it out with them. In the words of my mom theres the door don't let it hit you on the way out. She believes that being different is a good thing. She also tells me not to pay attention to what others think of me. My mom thinks that the world is only consered with looks, style, money, drugs, war, and themselves. Choose your own path, blaze your own trail, and/or just be your self no matter what any one wants or thinks. Well got 2 go bye

haha I like your mother, she sums everything up nicely and efficiently! :)

Its ironic, with all the "socialism" people promote, that selfishness is so rough. People cover their own ass at the expense of others and this is considered progress.

Chances are, Valymaer, you are not illogical but ARE illogical to them because they are probably making decisions that were originally resulting from an illogical choice THEY made. They have more numbers, though, and by default, they are "right." Power in numbers doesnt mean "right" in numbers but it will to them.

To answer your question - compassion? You CAN expect compassion from people but I think its pick and choose. I'm ALL for hearing people's problems because I think its one of the very few things worth actually discussing (amoung some). I'm very good at listening, even better at relating. There are some people out there that are like this. I just recently moved around at work and stumbled into some. I told them a problem I was having and expected them to stop listening but when I finished my short rant, I heard compassion. I was actually shocked and had to reflect for a second.

Some people are just so "closed-minded" and "arrogrant"! ! They think they're "Mr. Right" and don't give a damn about what anybody else thinks!!

It's much more fun to be around people that accept your viewpoints even though they might slightly disagree with your opinion...

Well, some people can't tell that you are feeling blue unless you either tell them, or are openly weeping. If you want compassion, maybe you should say, "Hey, I've got a problem..." and hopefully they'll listen.
