I think the point of this article is that its coming from such a broad spread of demographics, from teenage girls to 'upstanding' soldiers.

This level, and quality of venom and blind hatred is unprecedented, for a supposedly westernised and free thinking country.

Here's a site that shows Israelis as screaming apes in a cartoon-says they're a cancer on humanity and has a picture of a burning Israeli flag as its avatar. FB. -2 minutes on facebook-just searched anti-Israel -first hit.

Israelis have been so obsessed in their quest to become 'unarab' that they have more or less completely embraced secular western society. Even if it is at odds with their Jewish heritage.

I don't think you understood his post correctly. He never invited me to find any such equivalent on Facebook. He asked me to find an analogous incident where he used Facebook as a source.

Although this is really missing the point, and I didn't directly use a Facebook source. The point is that a lot of pro Israeli people have lauded the worth of Israel's moral compass. I'm calling them out on it.
The thing you have to remember is that you cannot compare one society with the other. The Palestinians were born into the brunt end of a conflict and know nothing but their besieged and austere living standards. Unlike their Israeli neighbours, they do not have the privilege of objectivity.
