Hello all,
I'm in my early 20's, and don't actually know if I have aspergers. If I do, it is a borderline case. My immediate family has always wondered, but never bothered to get a diagnosis.
Anyway, my (probably laughable) self diagnosis:
I picked up language skills earlier than most, and from a very early age recognized patterns, etc. I had a number of major obsessions when I was younger, but I seem to have grown out of those thankfully. My IQ is higher than average, but the biggest sign I think, is my social ineptitude. I have very few friends and hate meeting new people face to face, but the friends I do have, I tend to talk to almost excessively. I have never been able to judge facial expressions or body language correctly, but I''ve always told myself the above could just be a mixture of coincidence and plain old social ineptitude, nothing more.
I don't know how you guys react to newbies coming in and going "oh I think I have aspergers, hur dur!" so I''ll leave it at that.
Anyway, count this as my official hello, and thanks to those who actually read through this.
