I hear music in my head 24/7, so I wanted to know about the others. I mostly hear songs I've heard in past couple of days. If I haven't heard anything in 2-3 days, there's original stuff. Usually electronic beats, chords, minimal DJ stuff.
And yeah, 24/7 means even if I wake in the middle of the night, there's something playing in my head!

I hear music in my head only sometimes. If I feel really emotional, I hear music in my head constantly and have a desperate need to get it out of my head and hear it with my ears.

I've gotten used to it, but there's always AT LEAST one song going in my head. Sometimes more than one.

All the time. My dreams have soundtracks, too, tunes composed and played by my subconscious; and I remember the tunes for a while after waking.

My ability to hear music all of the time may not always be good, but as a musician, it is pretty beneficial. I once made a concept EP based on me always heari.g music in my head.

All the time. My mind can't take a rest and the music just keeps playing. Makes it hard for me to fall asleep.

I hardly ever listen to music at all, and only by conscious effort can I “play” it in my head. The one exception I remember was when I spent a whole night listening to a few songs while doing some academic task. I couldn’t shake them off my mind in the whole next day. The fact that I played them using some otherworldly effects built into the sound card may have helped, too. This was, of course, the form in which I kept “hearing” the songs in my head.

I hear music in my head constantly. In fact, the only time in which I don't hear music, is when my mind automatically begins to imagine how Stewie Griffin would have tackled the last social situation I was involved in, which is something I have very little control over...

That is the main reason I think twice before going to any church on a Sunday--the hymns will be constantly replaying themselves in my head until at least the middle of the week. Good music, but still not a suitable sound track for every weekday situation. :flower:

Sometimes I hear songs in my head that do not actually exist. Sometimes they are quite intricate and sound quite good.

I hear music in my head very often. One time, working in a grocery store, the background music stopped, yet I had no problem listening to songs in my head to distract me from the work.

Sometimes I do wake up with some random song of bit of music in my head. Often its something I haven't listened to in a long time and it just pops up out of nowhere.

I don't hear it like I am actually hearing it, but songs run through my head sometimes in my thoughts. It's not like hearing voices or anything, I don't really hear it.

Most of the time, the music in my head is songs that I like.

All the time, I hear music in my head, as well as some random snippet of a cartoon or weird pictures and words.
Sometimes I make up my own songs and let them play in my head.
