The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli, and I have to say, I'm enjoying more than I thought I would. Maybe I'm just a tad messed up in the head, but I think his brutally effective guidelines on how to secure and maintain power as an autocratic dictator is stupendously interesting. If you don't know much about the book, imagine it as Ruling a Kingdom: For Dummies

It's a simple book on the grammar of Asturian, a minority language of Spain.

I'm listening to this as an audio book and I appreciate that it's read by the author. I'll admit it can be confusing, but it's also kind of fascinating to read about someone so brilliant.

Years Best Extreme Horror. Vol. I.

Anthology of short horror fiction where the authors aren't afraid to go the distance with disturbing imagery and situations. So far, pretty decent short stories.
