Hi I've been diagnosed with AS at 3 yrs old and I've noticed that when I look at crosses my eyes feel uncomfortable sometimes to the point of having to close and rub my eyes. Do other Aspies have this problem or am I a vampiric weirdo lol?

Swastikas do the same thing to me.

I have a sensitivity to the color combination of brown, yellow, and green. No joke--I can't stand anything with these colors on it.

When you think about it us Aspies share some traits with Vampires (e.g sensitive to sensations like bright lights and strong tastes (garlic)). I vant to suck your blood MWAH HA HA HA HA!! !! !!.

I feel the same about peace signs. I might feel the same about swastikas, except I don't recall ever seeing anybody wear one of those in my presence.

As far as sunlight goes, I too used to be very sensitive to it, but it's something I've gotten used to.

BritAspie - Are you referring to crucifixes? If so, yes, they make me feel uncomfortable. For a variety of reasons (none that have to do with vampires). Same with swastikas (as mentioned by CockneyRebel).

They don't bother my eyes. They annoy me. I always try to chop it up to the fact that I don't believe in god but when I was young even before I knew to put the two together they annoyed me. I never thought anything of it and honestly never knew they bothered other people.

I think they look quite intimidating, especially the big ones in churches looming over you, I think they are made like that, to instil a feeling of something that is more powerful than yourself. I could just be talking rubbish of course but that's the feeling I get.

They intimidate me as well. Though, it’s not just the way they look. It is also what they represent.

I'm pretty sure the OP isn't a vampire. :) But it is not uncommon for people with AS to strongly dislike certain sensations that NTs feel as neutral or pleasant.
