Someone on a My Little Pony message board I'm one who is a fellow customizer received a disturbing e-mail
suspodsly from Hasbro (the makers of My Little Pony) telling her to stop customizing. What's really weird is the fact that on a messageboard full of customiziers she was the only one who was contacted. Most people think it's a hoax by someone who is jelous of her. Someone said that she is the like the customizer leader and if they attack the leader they will attack everyone. Hasbro is really stupid then because they did not stop to think about people like me who do not follow a leader. Even so if it is true Hasbro is not going to stop me from customizing.

That's kind of disappointing. I've never been into that scene myself but I did collect the things as a child and occasionally when we felt down my friend and I used to have a look around the customs sites and admire the gorgeous, crazy things people were doing with those broken-down little plastic ponies salvaged from the attic.

Huh, I hope Hasbro doesn't go the way of so many other companies and try to shut customs/fanworks down for good. Surely such a smalltime scene can't be hurting their sales or branding any. (In fact maybe someone should suggest that they market packs of plain unpainted ponies in various poses specifically for the customisers?)

I looked at your link AspicViper. The "Drej" one is very cool. Never seen anything like it.

It's always sad, when something reaches its demise.
