I liked the variety of classes I had this year and most of my teachers.

I disliked math.

I don't have to take math again until college.

I liked that I was with my friends.

I hated the fact that I suck at French.

What I'll miss:
...

What I won't miss:
Homework
Students coming to school sick because they can't afford to miss a test
Pulling multiple all-nighters in a row
Loud classrooms & hallways
The point where I decide that reviewing my textbook and notes is not worth the bother & hoping to miraculously get a good grade without paying attention in class

I graduated high-school in 2001. I hated school. I struggled in most of my classes cuz of dyslexia & related learning problems. I liked a few of my friends & some of my teachers.

Christmas was my favourite subject. I didn't have to deal with the ignorance of the regular kids during Christmas break.

I hated going back to school after Christmas, because my regular peers were all a bunch of Nazis who hated people who had any type of disability.

I do miss the routine of school and being able to see teachers and friends that I liked every day, but I don't miss the mean people and the noise and confusion of the hallways.

I disliked most of the work and people there. I do not remember much I "learned" there being useful in adult life. I despised that people were so stoned and drunk all day (it was the early '70's) that they could not hold a coherent conversation. It was uncomfortable not being able to pee all day because the bathrooms were used to smoke marijuana and cigarettes pure sensory hell not only in the bathrooms but wafting down the halls. The bullies were not fun either.

I am glad that part of my life is long over with.

It is no accident that this song was popular back in my high school days

I miss the language classes, the school trips to some interesting places and the most important - my childhood best friend, who was a very sensible and artistically gifted girl and one of the few people I really felt happy with.
What I certainly don't miss is the attitude of most of the girls from my school, who enjoyed gossiping and making fun of any girl who would be at least slightly different from them...

I liked my classes, particularly English and languages. I also liked any class involving reading, research and study. I struggled in math, but was still interested in it.

Things I won't miss:

Bullies in elementary and middle school
I won't miss worrying about my grades. I still love learning new things, but I no longer have that pressure.
Marxist university professors

Miss:
Order and routine
Not fretting about the future

Don't miss:
Moronic rules
Condescending teachers
Bullies
Stressing over grades

I'd get eaten alive in today's education system!!
