Does anyone have any published papers about Social Anxiety in Aspies? I was looking for some statistics and/or discussion material, but didn't have much success.

seems nobody knows about this - I was hoping for info as well.....

I'm getting some help with social anxiety. My therapist recons that you need a certain degree of empathy to suffer from social phobia in order to worry about hurting the other persons feelings etc. She thinks not all those with autism would feel that degree of empathy so would not all have social phobia. I think that was the gist of it.

I'm not sure she has it right or not or if I understood her. as I said I'd like to hear more about it...

I would also be interested in any research, though there seems to be a lack of it. I'll share here if I manage to find anything.
