I am going book shopping thanks to my awesome mom tomorrow YAY! Not crazy expensive please.

Topics: Psychology. Japanese culture (Ancient or present-I'm into both), Scandinavian culture (Ancient or present-I'm into both), Babylon (ancient)

I had a thing for studying other cultures-ancient and modern-when I was younger but kids bullied me for it so I stopped. I've decided to get back into it as it is and always will be one of my obsessions. :)

Good on you for going back to your interests. Maybe you can even pursue a career in them.

And sorry but I don't know any that I can recommend.

"The Japanese Experience" by Beasley is a good comprehensive history of Japan.
Other than that, I can't really help, but Goodreads might ... have you tried browsing there yet? :)
