I would somewhat agree, Andy! I used to use IE6 up until a few months ago, and its built-in "Pop-up Blocker" was terrible -- it let too many of those damn pop-up windows "slide through"! !

I have found that when you install the Firefox Add-on, Adblock Plus, the browser runs SO MUCH FASTER because ALMOST ALL of the advertising banners that a lot of sites display are "eliminated"!
