Alright, normally, when I come up to a stop sign (when I want to go straight), I stop. I then look both ways and when I'm satisfied the road is clear, I will go. This has pretty much never failed me, except for one night last December.

I was going straight and came upon a stop sign, whereupon I stopped. I looked both ways, the same as ever. Satisfied the road was clear, I pulled forward, but then I noticed this car coming from my right and I crashed into it! Sadly, I was at fault, though I took my usual precautions. In the month following, I noticed other times, where even though I looked both ways, I seemed to miss cars that were in the field I scanned, that were between the most extreme points my eyes saw. However, after that, I stopped having that problem.

During that period where I had that problem, I was on Zyprexa. It seems that when I went off Zyprexa, the problem stopped.

I forgot to ask her about it and I had forgotten about it until recently.

I'll hold off till the next appointment. I'm just worried, though, that she'll get all defensive about the drug and just be dismissive.

if she does get dismissive, I'd be finding a new psychiatrist. if she really gets her knickers twisted in a knot with you, I'd file a complaint with your state medical board.

Thanks.

I know something I will be telling her tomorrow is something i found out this morning. I've just finished processing it. I've gained 12 pounds in the past month thanks to a lower dose of Zyprexa, which thankfully doesn't seem to be causing the eye movement problems right now. I will definitely be informing her of that.
