Give some ideas on what movies to watch on Halloween people :)

Here's a few movies i have watched, and recommend:

- Frankenstein (1931)
- Carnival of souls (1962)
- Night of the living dead (1968)
- Eraserhead (1977)
- The shining (1980)
- Evil dead (1981)
- Videodrome (1983)
- Re-Animator (1985)
- The fly (1986)
- Army of darkness (1992)
- Trick 'r treat (2007)

If you wan't movies that have more of a comedy vibe to them:

- Young Frankenstein (1974)
- The little shop of horrors (1986)

And i just have to recommend a tv-series:

- The Twilight zone (1959-1964)

I'm not into all-out horror anymore, but I do watch both "Beetlejuice" and "Hocus Pocus" on Halloween. "Edward Scissorhands" is set during Christmas, but works for this time of year, too.

I've seen a clockwork orange before, It's good, can't believe i forgot to mention that one :P

The other movies you mentioned above I think i will look into those. Thought about watching Nosferatu and bride of Frankenstein before, so maybe on Halloween :)

I don't like to gory/scary horror movies though.. I would never, never dare to watch movies such as Saw, The Ring, Hostel or the texas chainsaw masacre - I imagine if i ever saw any of those movies, I wouldn't be able to sleep for weeks, or if i did I'd have horrible nightmares..
