Has anyone ever or know of anyone that has met somebody online like facebook or one of those other social media sites but they live very far away sometimes in another country does it always work out for them?
whats it like?

My mom met her current husband online when she was living in Reno and he was in Alaska.
Seems to have worked out for them.

Not really sure where online they met though, sorry.

I know a couple that met online while on different continents. They got married last year. I don't know the details of how they managed the dating process, though.

I'd guess almost everyone knows at least one couple that met online these days. Some of them long distance.

But there is no way that anyone can expect any method of meeting a significant other to "always work out," so of course they don't always work out. But sometimes they do.
