Post RULES for STAYING SAFE
Never give anyone your bank P.I.N. number even if they are a friend or someone that most people trust like a police-person.
Whoops!

If you are a young woman, be careful about having friendships with men. Some men pretend they just want to be friendly when they really want to date you or have sex with you. Even if you tell them no repeatedly they think if they just bide their time you will change your mind. Don't go anywhere alone with someone who doesn't take no for an answer. They might say something like, let's just hang out as friends, but if they keep touching you or trying to take you by the arm, or talking about how you look, they are really looking for sex.
If someone tries to follow you home, don't go home. Take a detour, or go to the nearest police station or a large public place where there are lots of people around.

Is it even hypothetically possible to list all the dangers in the universe, AND all the ways to avoid/deal with them, AND all the exceptions?
This is why Aspies are freaked out so much more, and more often than NTs, we see more threats and waste way too much of our life's resources preparing ways to cope with any possible problem we can think of and even more of our resources (including psycho-emotional resources) in countless mental "Emergency Preparedness Kits."
Instead of investing our energies in living life and seizing opportunities.
It drives us nutz.
Takes one to know one. =(

When you pull out the metal rack in the oven to check how something is cooking, use potholders to push it back before you close the door. Don't try to use the oven door to push the rack back inside the oven.
I have done this hundreds of times with no problem, but tonight I used a little too much force, and the glass pan slid across the rack and fell off the back faster than I could get the rack pushed back in place. Thankfully the glass pan didn't shatter and the lower rack caught it so it didn't turn over.

Apart from places like facebook, don't use your real identity online.
Be wary of scammers calling your house (particularly that "microsoft security" one)
Always do your own investigations into people/companies you've never heard of before who are claiming you're owed money or who are asking for your details. There are many government sites you can use to look them up and see if they're legit. Always look for something like a business registration number on the footers/headers of letters and emails.
When reading an email don't click on any link that leads to a login page.
Look behind and to your sides before typing your PIN in at an ATM to make sure nobody is standing too close.
