Has anyone seen this acclaimed Ken Burns documentary on the American Civil War? It is split into 9 episodes with terrific images and narration.

I loved it. 8)

I think it is one of the best documentary series. It is also one of those documentaries that uses photos and music from that time period rather than cheap dramatizations that ruin many documentaries for me.

I've seen it numerous times - that kinda says how much I like it, especially since I'm such a history buff. When I took a Civil War and Reconstruction class years ago in my college years, watching the series and making short reports on each episode was a requirement.
