Its hell on earth. More like a physical pang than an emotion. Has anyone found a solution other than http://simplynoise.com/ this kind of thing.

Brown noise has been an amazing solution. It blocks out virtually everything and is soothing to the point where I can meditate with it on. Highly recommended. It is however not always ideal i.e. when I want to listen to an audiobook or music.

Ah, such a difficult dilemma. Let me know if you make any discoveries.
As of now, I have to sleep with a fan on. That works, except when I used to stay the night my ex, with sisters, etc. Their breathing or light snoring drives me crazy while trying to sleep.
Also, a huge problem for me is, I enjoy spending time with family, which sometimes requires eating with them, but I cannot stand hearing them eat. I feel bad looking at them disgustedly, but I am not sure how to help it.

Misophonia can definitely be torture and truly unbearable. I have never tried brown noise but from what you say I would like to. How do you get it?

If you have misophonia you could try do the following:

1) I have been trying to use probiotics to help with misophonia. It is early days, but it might be helping me a bit.
Studies have shown the probiotics can help with autism, and misophonia is a possibly autism like in nature.
I am trying Yakult first, but may try probiotic supplements in the future.

2) L-Theanine is also quite effective for relaxing the symptoms of misophonia at least temporarily. This is like a concentrated form of tea.

3) Of course noise cancelling in hear earphones are very useful sometimes such as the Bose QuietComfort Acoustic Noise Cancelling ear phones.

I'd suggest you google the above to find out more. I'm not saying any of the above are solutions as such but they seem to help me.
