John Larroquette did the opening narration for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

He claimed that his payment was a single marijuana joint.

Hey, most would think he made out better than Sylvester Stallone did before Rocky...
(See Campin' Cat's post about T-shirts on the first page of this thread).

TV show trivia:
The Kirshners supposedly gave Neil Sedaka a paltry $60 for playing keyboards on the Archies' "Sugar Sugar" episode...

Nope. It was as dry as all that underware after the runaway garbage truck got hold of it. :skull:

Die Hard was Alan Rickman's first theatrical film. He was 42 years old.

Guys, I know this thread says "Trivia" and not "Current Events", but, if you'll forgive me, I like to include current issues.....

Charlie Sheen just announced on The Today Show that he is HIV-positive.

Lamar Odom is having to learn to walk and talk, again, and doesn't remember some of his family members.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are dating.

One of the only two songs ever put on wax in history (or atleast the only two in my vast record collection) about laundromats.

The other is by Sixties blues guitar maestro Albert King:"Laundromat Blues".

Hopefully, Mr.Sheen's and Mr. Odom's sad news will wake up some people who still think that recreational drug use is always harmless.

I applaud both of those men for their honesty.....perhaps, hopefully, they have helped someone.

Actually, Charlie Sheen has had it for years. All the people he has slept with. . .

Brando is so revered by so many, but he put so many people through so much misery.......just not right.
