What is your first name? Elyot

Age: 31

Location: UK

Hobbies and Interests: Listening to music, writing, drawing, walking, educating myself, nature, evolution, space, photography, Doctor Who, YouTube, fantasy, quizzes, online games, collecting things, steampunk, thunderstorms and clouds.

Why are you here? Just to gain some knowledge about all this stuff.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): I haven't been diagnosed with being on the autistic spectrum, I only suspect I'm on it.

Favorite subjects: English, art, graphics, Spanish.

Year/Grade: N/A

Favorite music: A variety! A few examples would be: Genres: alternative, pop, classical, instrumental. Artists: Placebo, Sigur Rós, Tegan and Sara. Eras: 60s and 90s.

Books: 'The Blood Cell' by James Goss. I'm not really a reader as I find it daunting.

TV shows/Movies: Doctor Who and documentaries. I don't watch modern TV shows; all my other favourites are from years ago.

Instrument: Drums (mainly steel drums) and acoustic guitar.

Do you like sports? No. I don't like watching them but I didn't mind playing badminton during PE lessons at school. If I was interested, I guess I'd probably play that or tennis, but watching them is kind of boring to me.

Family: I live with my dad and younger brother. I have an older brother who lives elsewhere, as does my mum.

Clothing: My favourite item of clothing is one of my Doctor Who t-shirts and also my Muppets 'Animal' pyjama trousers. They're very comfy to wear in bed.

How did you find this website? I think I found it via a Google search a couple of years ago. Or it might have been Social Anxiety Support forum.

Job: Unemployed right now.

Plans for the future? I don't have any but finding work.

Any comments? Nothing.

Because I am done trying to make NT friends...it is a hopeless venture and I hope to meet others on the spectrum who I can talk to because I almost don't have problems with other ATs at all. but I'd like to talk not on the forum because nothing on this forum is truly secure.

About 3 years ago. it's still weird because I am actually a Savant but i spent so much of my life with a basement level self esteem It never occurred to me that there were things I could just do and when they happened I just shook my head and told myself it was a fluke of some kind. Now i don't do that I just poke my brain until it does something very unusual and giggle to myself.

I am really glad the forum allows anonymity. i don't think I would stay otherwise. Oh and ...I expect to get banned soon. It's the trend on forums. it's probably me...I question everything, say what I think, challenge assumptions, call the ultimate end of social movements into question. I am really and truly deeply chaotic neutral.
