Dear Miss, I write this letter
As you are a lot like me.
I`m selective in the humans,
That fill my heart with glee.
Who can love a society
That does not understand,
That everything that I feel for
Is but putty in their hands.
The flora and the fauna,
The oceans and the rest;
They act like they're the owners,
When they are but just the guests.
Global warming, ozone layers,
Concrete towers abound;
Chemicals, polluted water,
Trees lopped to the ground.
Priests molesting children??
Religion crashing planes??
Then what the hell is Christianity?
This species is insane.
Dictatorships alive and well,
Never be yourself,
Who needs art, originality?
Cloak yourself with wealth.
Let your greed consume you,
Be shallow to the core,
Never think outside the box;
You`ll fit in for sure.
