The Non-Hermetic Hermit Crabs have come to greet us. They know we mean no harm.

The Tide is a bit higher than normal....so water is actually reaching to our shoes as we walk. Just take off your shoes, and I'll carry yours...so you can feel the water as you walk.

How would you feel about Cherry and Strawberry in your Italian Ices?

Yes, that's perfect. The water, the shoes, the ices. perfect. I love it out here. I think the crabs know that I fancy them, and so they put on a little crabby parade.

We hear the faint croaking of Frogs....for there's a river nearby, in addition to the Sea.

When I used to run on Long Island, I used to run on the shoulder of a highway. When I've run three miles from the Village of Hicksville, I would start to hear the rather loud croaking of frogs and toads. Where they emanated from, I knew not.

Wow. It never did that before! Outdoor showers are neat. On a very private beach, particularly. Perhaps you will see me safely indoors?

So we're on the beach, eh? Give me a dark rum and coke, actually a pitcher of it. Don't worry about providing glasses either, just stick a straw in there and a few wedges of lime around the edge.

Yes, we are on the beach, and a spectacular beach it is. (looking around the dance floor, out on the patio, and generally around the interior....) Yes, bartender, I am waiting for someone. I will have a Captain Morgan with diet soda in the meantime, please.

Plays "One is the Loneliest Number" on the jukebox. Sees the crossword puzzle, Sunday New York Times Magazine...and perks up a bit.

Howdy. Make mine a double - flavored water - straight up. I almost didn't make it out of the shower alive because the lights kept flickering. We're in a thunderstorm not even that bad. With the advances in technology, it should take a real act of God to make the electricity go out. I'm not ready to go off the grid just yet. I'm going to mosey on over to the music thread and play one of my pick-me-up songs......Ciao for now.
