Bon Jovi-Always, Aerosmith-I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing etc. I think they're good enough to prove your love of the other person.

And If You're Gone and 3AM by Matchbox Twenty too I think that if my ex heard me play one of those songs with tears in my eyes (not to sound feminine) at a scene in the city through a newspaper she would cry and forgive me.

I think it's mostly a plot device in romantic films and an excuse to play a sappy song at the right parts. If you didn't write the lyrics or the melody, how is it proving anything?

I don't think that works in the real world.

It works...

...only when you play it insanely well.

My honest opinion is no. Just sounds too tacky to me. A love letter or a sincere talk would be what I'd prefer.

Nothing is hotter or more romantic than a guy who plays the nose flute.

I would hope - for the sake of humanity as a species - that any sane woman presented with a rendition of a Bon Jovi (for want of a better word) song would choose to shoot the performer in the kneecaps, stomp on his fingers, and than beat whatever remaining life outta him with his favourite instrument.

Real men play the arse flute. I do some brilliant Enya covers.
