I'd meet up with young Hitler and young Stalin. I'd advice young Hitler to improve his artistic skills so he would be accepted in art class. I would advice young Stalin to please stay in the seminary so he'd become an Orthodox priest. I very much doubt a priest and a successful artist would soon wage war, thus saving millions of people.

Someone else would take their places most likely. Instead of Hitler and Stalin we'd be reading about Von Richthofen and Trotsky (or whoever).

In terms of people I'd try to affect by meeting them would be Stonewall Jackson simply so I could say "Dude don't go scouting you WILL get shot, die, and the war will be lost."

And nothing of value was lost that day.

Eleanor Roosevelt. Her politics was a bit too Liberal for me, but she had a great interest in people----and, she made herself do alot of things that she feared she could NOT, and I find her, fascinating.

"You must do what you think you cannot do." - Eleanor Roosevelt

Others, that interest me, are: Mae West and Annie Oakley. Each of these women created their public personas, and IMO, were very wise in the crafting of their careers, and were, overall, very smart.

"A dame that knows the ropes isn't likely to get tied up." - Mae West

"For me, sitting still is harder than any kind of work." - Annie Oakley

i do not know. i can not speak the languages of past centuries.

what could i say to julius caesar or alexander the great?
nothing.

when we die, we all "speak" the same language anyway (i believe), so i will wait until then.

if i just am nothing forever after i die, then it will have done me no lasting good to have met a famous person in history.

Martin Luther King, Jr.
One of my heroes, and he changed the face of our country to respect people, no matter what their skin color is.

I would like to meet a Neanderthal man who experienced how a Homo sapiens woman feels.
