How do you feel about being touched?
Touch me and it's the last thing you'll ever do... 3%  3%  [ 5 ]

I used to be off limits for physical contact, but lately I've made some friends who take me out of my comfort zone enough.

Being touched is one of the worst sensations for me. It can be painful if it's skin contact but light touch aggravates me the most. I can just about control myself if one of my classmates touches me but if someone does it deliberately does it then I lash out or yell or scream.

My family and I have this system where they ask me for hugs and if I'm happy or alright with that, then they'll hug me. My classmates know that I hate being touched too so they ask me too.

It really depends. I like to be rubbed and scratched and I always loved it when there people come in the class to screen us for head lice and they would touch our heads and move out hair and I always enjoyed that feeling and always hated when they were through. It only lasted a few seconds and then she was done.

If anyone asks for a hug or when I am expecting one, I am all prepared for it. If I am cold, I like to cuddle to be warm.

I agree, I like when I get my hair cut because when the barber runs the comb through my hair, it feels good.

People who touch me when my back is turned gets punched or elbowed. I hate it that I react that way. Especially when my ex GF wanted to hug me I jump sometimes. =(

I'm largely okay with being touched provide it isn't from behind or I'll jump out of my skin

I'm okay with my Dad or a friend shaking my hand, wrestling, or bumping heads (yes, Dad and I do this, a lot...it hurts his skull 'cause I'm so thickheaded LOL). My mom asks me to hug her a lot and I don't mind. And I'm perfectly okay with hugging a cute girl :)

But what I DON'T like is light touches. It makes my skin crawl and my hairs feel weird. Sometimes, Mom would touch me on the arm with a light hand and I'll snap at her. I have sensory integration issues--when I was a little kid, I was terrified of going off the diving board because, as my Dad puts it, "I don't know my place in space". I have a funky nervous system.
