I hate milk...if I drink it plain it literally makes me want to throw up. But, it does have a lot of nutrition and is a good source of protein. I would like to drink it for the added protein, so that I don't have to resort to things like supplements, but I seriously can't stomach it. Is there anything I can do to make it drinkable?

Can't you just eat some sort of solid food that provides protein? Peas, nuts, seeds, beans, lentils, whole wheat?

Cow's milk is meant to be drank by baby cows.

I drink soy milk because I hate the taste of cows' milk.

I've haven't liked to drink milk since I was probably four or five.
I get most of my dairy in the form of yogurt or kefir.

There are plenty of other fine sources of protein, if that's what your looking for specifically.
As far as nutrients, pasteurized milk doesn't have much except for Calcium, and Vitamin D sometimes (which is an additive).

Many will say that dairy is not necessary.
You can get Vitamin D from beef liver, eggs, and certain types of fish and mushrooms, and there are several good plant sources of calcium.

Almond milk is much better tasting than regular milk.

I hate the taste of milk, and am only able to drink it if it's flavored. I like chocolate milk a lot and it goes well with the brown cheese we have here. There are also cultured milks here with flavors like pear, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, and other flavors, added. IDK if you have them where you live, but if you do, that's a good alternative.

I can only take pure milk with cereals, and even then I prefer yogurt.

Agreed! I make my own almond milk and rice milk.

I hate the feeling dairy milk leaves in my mouth. Kind of a slick/sticky feeling. Plus ever since I read smack-dab in the middle of a cold that milk is mucus-forming, I've been like "no thanks!"

I don't understand why you have to have milk if you can't stomach it. There are other good sources of protein other than milk.
Greek yogurt and cottage cheese for example. (choose fat-free)
Almond milk tastes pretty good but it's not a very good source of protein. If you're not concerned about isoflavones, soy milk has about the same amount of protein as cow's milk.
Personally, I try to avoid all dairy products because I believe it's bad for human body.

drinking milk is unnatural anyway, it's biologically meant for growing kids only, but once you have your adult teeth, you are "supposed" to stop drinking milk and start getting your proteins from different sources.

on that note: perhaps try dairy products? i also don't like the taste of milk (and can't really digest untreated milk either), but i like cheese and yoghurt, which are essentially the same, nutrition-wise.

i wouldnt recommend milk unless its from an "organic"/grass fed source becuse otherwise your most likly sucking down antiobiotics, hormones, and/or GMO associated chemicals as GMO feed and junk is what they typicallly feed non-grass-fed stock and typically also given lot of antiobiotics and hormones to prevent tuberculosis/other diseases and increase milk or beef yield, which goes into yuo and before you know it, youve helped kill lot of your good bacteria in you and you have become puffed up by estrogen that you are getting in the milk. plenty of other better sources for the protein and calcium.
