And that is the scary part, believing any claim

Having said that, there is such a thing as false memory syndrome. However, due to the numbers of women who have testified against him separately, I tend to take the side that he is guilty.

To quote a well known fictional tv character: "Everybody lies".

I'm not claiming they are lying, but I don't blindly believe what a crowd says, as it has been shown an example earlier here, just because many people claim they saw the virgin Mary and because many people claim they saw the same UFO, it does not prove the existence of both, the virgin Mary and aliens visiting us.

It's kinda sad when people demonize others based solely on rumors, gossips and unfounded statements.

Heck of a conspiracy! Even Cosby's own words are against him.

I bet now he is envious of that English cat [jimmy savile] who died before he was caught.

Mr. Cosby has now publicly admitted obtaining Quaaludes for the purpose of 'having sex' with women.

Consensual sex does not require one partner being stoned/buzzed/high/semi-conscious.

This admission seems to prove the claims.

Somehow, I sort of feel sorry for Camille Cosby....does she love him THAT much, to force herself not to see what he

was doing?

Does she feel guilt for what he did, when she could have said or done something?

How could she stay with him?

How could she look her daughters in the eyes, knowing that a man like her own husband could one day victimize

them?

He is likely to fade away into ignominy.

Up until a few weeks ago, I still looked up to him as someone who had come up and out of an impoverished background, served in the Navy, and put himself through university to earn a Ph.D.

Now, I feel as sad for him as I do for Robin Williams - both had brilliant careers that were cut short by their own actions. But for Dr. Cosby, I also feel a sense of betrayal, much as the kid who cried to Shoeless Joe Jackson, "Say it ain't so!" after his involvement in the Black Sox Scandle of 1919.

Now, all of my heroes are dead - physically or spiritually - and there is no one left to look up to.

IMHO there are countless "ordinary" heroes all around us.
