IMHO there are countless "ordinary" heroes all around us.

The nastiest form of betrayal is to pretend you are a saint when you are not.

I don't any sympathy for Cosby. Hypocrite, liar, rapist.

I have less anger towards the actual single act of rape than I do towards those who LIE about it and use their power to COVER THEIR TRACKS. It makes me REALLY REALLY angry.

Using POWER to silence victims is FAR MORE DAMAGING than the actual act of rape in my opinion. And that's not to say rape is fine or anything. But that psychological violence is inexcusable.

I despise when people people in power are able to get away with things.

NO ONE? out of 7+ billion to choose from?
Not even one.
Can you be your own hero?
Sure ... and then become so full of myself that I turn into the kind of person who believes that he can get away with committing crimes forever ...

Then perhaps just don't consider the possibility of committing "crimes forever" as a possible part of your life; just forget that idea, and instead continue intelligently and purposefully committing good acts and avoid all questionable acts the best you can, and perhaps, before long, others will look up to you and perhaps you'll look up to yourself? Everyone's choice begins now. :)
