I was discussing music with someone (possibly a friend from Toastmasters) and we discussed why we liked and disliked some of the songs and singers we did. Most of the discussion was about various musicians from the 1960s, one of my favorite musical eras.

I dreamed this morning that I went to a donut shop to buy two donuts and found out that the price has risen to $4 per donut.

I was being chased.

Then 'it' tackled me to the ground and started to rip out my intestines.

And I enjoyed the experience.

Sounds like sexual symbolism.

Didn't seem like that to me. Why do people turn so many things sexual?

I watched Cinema Sins tear apart Ghostbusters 2016 last night, so naturally I had dreams of being stuck in a theater and having to watch that awful movie. I often have dreams where I go to a movie but don't remember any of it when it ends, as if I had been asleep (in my dream) the whole time. But this time I just wanted to leave before it ended.

all I could remember was I was in some kind of school and was introduced to another student dressed like a geek. I was dressed like a geek also. :nerdy:

Your female. Your pursuer is entering your body in a certain way. And you enjoy it. Just stating the obvious possible symbolism.

But Freud did say "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar" (ie that a phallic shaped thing isn't always a phallic symbol).

I dunno.

What do you think that your dream might have meant?

Or what the imagery mean to you?

Had a quick hour nap before going to work. Enough to start a charming dream. Dreamt I was back living in mom's basement. And that a cat we had would turn the doorknob to the outside basement door to let a human friend in.

We have had cats who would signal that they wanted out by placing their paws on a doorknob and partially turning it to ape us humans to communicate. But this cat in the dream had semi magical powers and when placing paws on the doorknob could actually turn the doorknob enough to unlatch it and open the door. The alarmclock went off and woke me before the story continued.

there are some cats for real, that have figured out how to grab a doorknob with two paws and rock their bodies back and forth until the door opens.

My cat Peter (1998-2016) was able to open doors. He was really smart. He inherited that from his feline mom, Puffy.
