Been watching it on Netflix...I loved it when it was first on, and still do. :-) Anyone else remember this show?

Sure, I used to watch it back in the 90's. It was a great show!

Yepp, absolutely loved them and watched them regularly when I was a kid. And loved Dean Stockwell as I found his character to be such a care-free character.

Here's a slightly longer intro (with the female announcer):

I used to watch it all the time. One of the few cases where a network could make scifi appeal to people who usually didn't like scifi.

Yep - because the "scifi" aspect was just a vehicle for the main point - Sam's acting as a guardian angel (basically) for the world. :) The "human" factor mattered far more.

I was a big fan of this as a kid, and still watch it on occasion. The music changes for the DVD releases really hurt sales in the U.S. changes, and I still wish they'd have done a TV movie to wrap things up properly...but Scott and Dean are both too old now.

I actually tried writing my own "final leap" story, that would serve to start a new chapter in the franchise...but I never made it past the first few pages. :(

Take a look at this: Quantum Leap - The Virtual Seasons

(Even though it's "on hiatus", you can read the archived episodes.)
