Any black people with Aspergers on here?

Just been curious if there are any black people with aspergers on here,haven't seen many. Not sure if most of them never get diagnosed or just don't mention it. Just curious though. All "aspies" are great.

Do you usually see anyone here? Only the very few who use images of themselves as avatars or post images of themselves in threads, right? I know that there are black people here, from the content of past threads where it came up.

African Americans, and people of African descent elsewhere, are not a rare phenomenon here on WrongPlanet.

There are at least a couple who post regularly here. There are many more who post infrequently.

My wife is Afro-Caribbean.

On wrong planet I don't know because I usually don't ask people about their race.
But outside in the "real world" I've seen and met Aspies who are black.

All members of WP are descended from black people.

in that sense, all members of WP are descended from single cells.

we used to have some purple members but the last one was eaten sometime around 2007.

Figured i'd ask because a few other people have asked on here but it was like 2 years ago. People seemed a lot nicer on that thread though. So my bad if I offended anyone... :/

i'm not sure of you offended anyone here, probably not but a good number of us can also word things in better ways than we do, so you're in good company.

I'm black. Are you? or are you just curious? Some times black people come here and ask that question because they feel that they are alone in being black and having AS.

I don't think anyone was offended. One thing about WP: it's good to try not to read between the lines but just take things people say for what they are.

Most of the time when I think someone has some additional layer of meaning, they don't--it's hard because this is the opposite of communication in the NT world where people almost always mean much more than they say.

Anyway, welcome! I think you have arrived at the right planet.
