David Bowie (1969 album) - David Bowie

Side A:

Space Oddity
Unwashed And Somewhat Slightly Dazed (and unlisted track "Don't Sit Down")
Letter To Hermione
Cygnet Committee

Side B:

Janine
An Occasional Dream
Wild-Eyed Boy From Freecloud
God Knows I'm Good
Memory Of A Free Festival

The title track doesn't fit the album, really. There's this certain rough-around-the-edges dreaminess permeating the album that makes it so enjoyable for me. I love the title track, but it doesn't have THAT kind of dreaminess.

ALL of those^ tracks make up a good part of my 'Favorites by David Bowie' list. Nice that you have that album!

Larry Coryell - "Coryell" (1969)
B.B. King - "Indianola Mississippi Seeds" (1970)
Roy Buchanan - "Loading Zone" (1977)
Johnny Winter - "Nothin' But the Blues" (1977)
Miles Davis - "Star People" (1983)

Yeah...for the most part, my favorite musicians are dead. :(

Their works live on forever, though, but I'm just pointing it out.

All of the guys in Porcupine Tree and Primus had better live to be 100+, because virtually everyone else I like listening to have been dropping like flies.

Helloween - Walls Of Jericho
Scorpions - Animal Magnetism
Scorpions - Blackout

Only just starting to get into these bands after years of not paying them much attention. All 3 are really catchy albums with lots of great songs.

I've been listening to the Kadebostany album Pop Collection and David Bowie's Blackstar a lot, recently.

KUT Live Vol. 6

The series are thank you gifts for contributing to the Austin NPR-affiliated public radio station. The songs are all live in-studio performances. This one contains Richie Havens performing Maggie's Farm/Won't Get Fooled Again, among other great tracks.

Meat Light: The Uncle Meat Project/Object - Frank Zappa and the Mothers (The original album, an earlier edit and mix of it plus assorted rough mixes and outtakes)

Relayer - Yes (the gift that keeps on giving, what an album)

Yesshows - Yes (Ritual is the big highlight here, but every track is great)
