There aren't many original Jimi Hendrix songs on YouTube.

even nations not normally known for their use of Rs as we westerners know them in general, such as the asian languages, will, while singing, decoratively trill their Rs quite nicely. I watched a Japanese variety program featuring a singer singing in Japanese but rolling her Rs. from what I have read, among the only languages that lack any kind of R sound are native American languages.

I watched a video that showed popular breeds of dogs and how breeding has changed them over the years. I learned that the changes were all really bad, the dogs now have all kinds of genetic health or behavior problems and are lucky to live past 6 years. It's like, people love that curly tail on pugs, let's make it more curly. People love the short little legs on terriers, let's make them shorter. And for what reason? :money:

It's disgusting, it's cruel, and it's the human race in a nutshell.

Genetic engineering technically begun about 10 centuries ago. Recombinant DNA Technologies was the term I needed, but still, the former was interesting to discover and is commonly misused to mean the latter.
(EPQ -> Research -> Got sidetracked a bit -> Managed to fit the sidetrack into part of the essay pretty well -> thus got higher wordcount :D )

I learned where I live there possibly might have been a lake at one time 3 city blocks from my flat which, eventually become the dumping ground for hazardous items, though was built over and is now the location of homes, yet I can't confirm this but, no wonder they never have been able to sell that land if true.

Great Dolphin. I believe you instigated some curiosity that should not have been fed in me.
It felt slightly, disgusting? I'm not sure what word to use. Normally animals fail to affect me, but it just did not seem a pleasing thing to watch.

I agree, lostonearth. They do that with cats, too and breed defects into those poor animals. Absolutely not good for the health. The healthiest, longest lived animals are mixed breeds.

Many people think the way cats keep mice alive to "play" with them is evil and torturous, but they are really instinctively doing it to weaken and exhaust their prey so they can kill it without endangering themselves.

Although I'm not sure why a cat would find a mouse a danger to them. Maybe they've seen Tom and Jerry? :cat:
