^^^^wish I could answer that definitively. I can only relate that in retrospect [30+ years ago] I was in the army with people who in my modern judgment seemed to be on the aspie spectrum but also had certain sociopathic behavioral traits.

Yeah, I was about to say - scoring high on the histrionic and avoidant scales seems like a contradiction.

Histrionic personality disorder is defined by the American Psychiatric Association as a personality disorder characterized by a pattern of excessive attention-seeking emotions, usually beginning in early adulthood, including inappropriately seductive behavior and an excessive need for approval.

People who are avoidant go out of their way to make sure they have no attention-seeking behaviours.

To be honest I thought Histrionic Disorder was something else and what you've written sounds like the complete opposite to me.

So I did this test two years ago and saved my results to a different forum, so I thought it might be interesting to compare the results I got this time VS what I got two years ago. I'm bored, ok? :D

Paranoid and antisocial were moderate but now it's low.

Schizoid (low), Histrionic (moderate) and Schizotypal (high) I scored the same for.

Borderline went from high to moderate.

Narcissistic went from moderate to high.

Avoidant went from very high to low, so that's quite a change in results. 8O Dependent went from high to low too.

OCD went from high to very high.

I'll have to see what I get in another two years, just out of interest.

Now you've told me what it is , it's like the old definition I had has been overwritten and I'm not entirely sure what I thought ( it's a word I've never used , I've only read the word ) , but I think I thought it might refer to placing too much emphasis on innocuous past events for current state of mind e.g. I accidentally stood on a snail thus animal cruelty thus psychopath

Low dependence on others. Otherwise, a high degree of jerkishness in all depts. :ninja:

The most responsible things I have to say about this, is that I am respectful of animals, overall. I dislike holdouts and lying, and will try to be courageous, on special occasions. While I have no inclination, towards self harm, in the sense of being a masochist, I recognize that I have taken risks and got lucky.
